Role and access

Change someone's role, or remove their access. Owners and admins only, and three rules apply:

• You can give a role up to your own, and change only people whose role is no higher than yours. An admin can't change an owner.
• You can't change your own role or remove yourself; someone else does that.
• A company always keeps at least one owner who can sign in. The last one can't be demoted or removed: make someone else an owner first.

Remove access signs them out on their next click and stops them signing in. Nothing they recorded is deleted: the ledger and the audit log still say who did what. For someone still invited it is Cancel invitation, and the link stops working. Inviting the address again restores the account.

Every invitation, role change and removal is recorded in the audit log.
