Workstation groups

A group is a capability — welding, wheel truing, printing. Routing steps name the group, because a routing is written once; the specific station is chosen when a work order step starts. Three stations in a group are three times the throughput of that step.

Stations counts the active workstations in each group. A row edits the group.

Hours per day is how long each station in the group works in a day: a staffed bench 8, a printer running its whole window 14. The capacity chart on the planning page runs the group's open and proposed work through its stations at this rate and says what finishes late.
