Parts

The item master: every part, one row per version. A new version of a part is a new row, never an edit, so anything that pointed at the old version (a BOM line, a movement, an order) keeps meaning what it meant.

The list

Status is a few letters, spelled out when you hover: A active, I inactive or X archived, then M made here (the part has a routing), P purchased (it has a supplier), B it has a bill of materials. A printed assembly reads AMB; a bought component AP; a part that is neither made nor sourced yet shows just A, which is usually a part that still needs its routing or supplier.

The search box narrows the list to parts whose number, name or description contains what you type (case does not matter); the × clears it. Columns can be sorted by clicking their header; the page size dropdown and pager are at the bottom, and both keep the search. CSV exports exactly what the list shows; PDF prints it. Import loads parts from a file (see Import). New part (planner) opens the form.

A row opens the part page.

Where parts also appear

Each category has its own parts list — the same list, filtered — and a New part there pre-selects the category.
