Part page
Everything known about one part, as cards. Which cards appear depends on the part type: a bought-in part doesn't show a routing card, for instance.
Actions (top right)
| Action | Who | Does |
|---|---|---|
| BOM | anyone | The bill of materials editor |
| Routing | anyone | The routing editor |
| Sourcing | anyone | Who sells it |
| Custom data | anyone | The opaque JSON integrations use |
| Receive / Issue / Transfer | operator | Record a movement for this part |
| Duplicate | planner | A new part copying everything this one is (fields, images) and nothing that happened to it (no movements); a new stock number is allocated and the name gets "(copy N)" |
| Edit | planner | The edit form |
On a narrow screen the actions collapse into the ⋮ menu.
Cards
Images — up to five. Upload from a file or the phone camera; drag and drop works. The first is the primary, shown large; click another thumbnail to view it, ★ to make it primary, × to delete. Large photos are downscaled to 1600px on upload; these are shelf photos, not archival scans.
Identity — category, stock number, version, type.
Description — the Markdown, rendered.
Stock policy — on hand across all locations; on order (open purchase order lines, so a low number with a healthy on-order is not a problem); can build — for a part with a BOM, how many could be assembled from what is on the shelf right now and which component sets that limit (see BOM); then unit, stocked flag, minimum, maximum, lead time, standard cost as on the edit form.
Stock by location — the on-hand split. Recent movements — the last few ledger rows for this part.
Where we buy it — the sourcing rows: supplier, their part number (a link to their product page when set), price, MOQ / pack, lead time, and which is preferred.
Bill of materials and Routing — read-only views; Edit in the card header opens the editor. Where used — the assemblies this part goes into.
Notes, Record — created, updated, archived.
